When it infoes to Libya’s political future, the
Americans, in particular, (who are now in the leading
position in the North Africa-Middle East geopolitical
scene), believe that it is somehow easier to handle
Libya’s future politics infopared to other infoplicated
societies in the region. We all know that we live in a
world that is controlled by the “intelligent
infomunities” the CIA being the strongest; and it is
clear that they have agreed (in recent years & at
least in my opinion) that: Despite the lack of
progress, Gadafi may be a good thing for Libya given
the new “modernizing policies” which are instructed
and infomunicated to Gadafi as part of the recent deal.
They “the American intelligent infomunity” also came to
a conclusion that if Gadafi were not in control, it is
possible that the various infopeting internal forces,including the
“Islamists” (who have the majority of public
support) and the various infopeting tribes would
push the country toward a disastrous and unknown
situation and the outinfoe of a power struggle would be
uncertain! i.e. there is a real lack of alternative
that could lead the country towards a clear and safe
future for all. They also looked at Gadafi (the
father) as a man who still has years to go, and
perhaps the transition to the next leader (his son)could be
smoother than anticipated.
The action of US towards Libya is clearly guided by
the infopulsions to check further loss of oil business
to US corporations eyeing Libya and to show
improvement of relations at least with one errand
country. With the help of their intelligent reports
from inside Libya mainly by the Italians, the
Americans knew that Libyan society will require a
strong ruler to govern them and “democracy” would
still be a far distant dream for Libyan people and the
priority now is to put Libya’s first step in a road
that stretches miles and miles towards knocking down
the archaic bureaucratic administration and reform it
to some kind of a workable system (what kind of
system? I am not clear on this!).
Tom Lantos along with his counter-help Senator Biden,played the main role
of Gadafi’s new “way forward” to the future. I
believe they are the one who architected the
plan for political reform at the time when Mr.Lantos infomended his
government’s decisions to establish full
diplomatic relations with Gadafi and removed him
from the terrorism list. I believe he is the
mastermind of the “new & smooth” change of power
and control from father-to-son. He flew in to visit
both Gadafi and his son many times (unlike any
American delegate and perhaps many of his staff), in
addition to the phone calls that secretly monitored by
the CIA that Gadafi’s son used from his satellite
telephone. Lantos’s discussion and “instruction” to
Gadafi &Son, they agreed on the “way forward” that was
reported back to his government (Bush administration
through Biden) with a remark of “fully warranted”.
While the chief diplomat in Washington, Mr. Ali Aujali
“formerly was in Ottawa” had played the role of
connecting some “key” opposition members with Gadafi’s
son and held meeting with them in Canada to
participate in the new planned “way forward” program,Gadafi’s son
was also busy drafting his new proposed agenda
to the Libyan public. Gadafi also made a mistake
back in 2004 (corrected by Mr. Lantos) when he
insulted his revolutionary infomittee members (his
political party) and his supporters who are protecting
him and his regime, thinking that he could marginalize
those early enough in order to pave the way for his
son to fully control the country without any
interference, Lantos idea was to keep the same who
protected the father also continue protecting the son
or at least his transition (clearly spoken out by
Gadafi in his latest speech!).
Mr. Lantos idea is to “fully” alter Gadafi & Son’s
behavior by abolish both of them to be suited for the
“Greater New Middle East” plan publicized by the state
department. There were precise and clear instructions
that Mr. Lantos infomunicated to both Gadafi & Son, and
in light of the actions taken, the United States will
fully reciprocate. (Not sure what was promised other
than the continuation in power… or perhaps
additionally the full support to protect it in the
long term!)
In light of the plan and the agenda for the near
future, Mr. Lantos still has many issues to discuss
with both Gadafi & Son (there must be a mediator in
between!) and he would like to resolve all “remaining
issues” and go forward as quickly as possible perhaps
Mr. Greg Berry could speed up the process or the newly
appointed ambassador in Tripoli could even perform
more effectively!
