“Libya almustakbal”: last night Libyan political prisoner, Dr. Idris Abofied was released (for health reasons). Our sources confirmed that the Libyan authorities promised to facilitate the procedures of Dr.Boufayed traveling abroad for treatment, where he is suffering from cancer, and his health condition is requiring the treatment abroad. The source added that the Libyan authorities also pledged to cover the cost of the treatment. The same source added that Dr. Idris after he was released, thanked everyone who contributed to highlight his cause and facilitate his release.
Furthermore it is expected after
the release of Dr. Boufayed that the rest of his fellow detainees in the
"Martyrs Square"
